History
Painting, decorating and dyeing eggs in bright colours is an ancient tradition and is the perfect finishing touch to Easter celebrations.
Heitmann egg dyes first went on sale in the 19th Century, and were soon almost as popular as the Easter Bunny himself. As a traditional provider of egg dyes and the market leader in the segment, Brauns-Heitmann has constantly refined, updated and expanded its range. The first egg dyes were in powder form, which was later pressed into tab form. Later came dye sheets, gel dye sticks and liquid dyes.
